We have just stayed at the Carlton for 5 days. Our stay was as meant to only be 2 nights but due to a family emergency we needed to extend our stay for an extra 2 nights and they couldn’t have been more accommodating! They were all so supportive and couldn’t do enough for us. Elley and Hannah the managers are absolute superb at their jobs and all their staff were just amazing! We can not thank them enough and have stayed here many times before and certainly will be staying again. A*
Stayed here for a dance weekend. Loved how close it was to the sea. My room was spacious and although the room and bathroom were a bit dated they were clean ehich is the important thing. Loved the pool and jacuzzi area

Rooms are very nice, lovely bath! But personal preference is to have a soft bed and the beds were rather hard. The dinner we had was good value but not much of it and poor selection (this was a "festive menu") I am a very picky eater but I expected traditional things you see on a festive menu and there wasn't much. The breakfast was good as I much prefer buffet style and everything tasted lovely.
We had a great weekend here. Everything about the hotel was great. Especially Jaden who looked after our group . Excellent work to the whole team
Amazing stay went to the theatre to watch sister act. Arrived at 2pm , by 3pm we were in the aztec spa having the fire and ice which was great also used the pool. Had meal in Albert's bar again brilliant , food was amazing along with the service. Breakfast was also great Couldn't fault our stay at all
We stayed at the Carlton for an event. We were meant to stay Friday, Saturday and go home Sunday. Unfortunately on the Saturday night my father suffered a cardiac arrest at the hotel. The staff that evening were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Especially Elley Croft. We are still at the hotel now whilst my father remains in the local hospital. The service we have received has been nothing short of incredible! Hannah, Elley and all the team we can not thank you enough!! You have made an extremely difficult and stressful time so much more bearable! We can’t recommend this hotel enough. When this is all over and done with, we will be coming back regularly with our families just to visit the staff! We have nothing but praise for this hotel, its staff and amenities!
A tale of two Halves. Very tired corridors and rooms. In some parts there was a weird smell as well. However, the main facility hub was fantastic for the kids. A very generous swimming area and a fantastic games area. With ten pin bowling and a soft play. With multiple arcades, pool and snooker tables. There's also an outdoor pool for those who are brave enough. Various bars with decent food and service. The evening entertainment area was also enjoyable. Would me and the wife return on our own for a romantic weekend away? We wouldn't Would we return with the kids? 100% Plenty to occupy the youngsters, close to the main beach. Considering the hotels had their fair share of older guests, it's definitely a place for families to enjoy as well.
